Volunteering
When you volunteer, you don't just help others, you help yourself.
- Make new friends
- Gain new skills and experiences
- Enhance your CV
- It's a great way to have fun!
Why Volunteer?
Volunteering is about giving your time to do something useful, without getting paid. In return you get the satisfaction of time and effort well spent.
The range of opportunities is huge. We have everything from environmental projects, mentoring, helping out in luncheon clubs to sports coaching, whatever you're interested in and whatever skills and experience you have; there is something that you can do.
If you are aged between 16 and 24 you can also sign up to become a Millennium Volunteer, which is a UK wide initiative designed to promote and recognise volunteering among young people aged 16 - 24.
